Design, create and decorate your own Botanical Serving Collection.

During this relaxed four-hour workshop you’ll handcraft a beautiful coordinated collection of three serving platters in different sizes using professional slab-building techniques. Inspired by nature, you’ll personalise each piece with botanical textures and pigments to create a timeless collection that’s both beautiful and functional.

During the workshop you’ll:

Using professional slab-building techniques, you’ll handcraft two beautifully shaped bottles, designed to become both a practical part of your kitchen and a timeless feature on your dining table. Inspired by nature, you’ll personalise each piece with botanical textures and decorative details before finishing them in your choice of carefully selected colours.

Whether you’re making them for yourself or as a thoughtful gift, you’ll create a unique pair that’s as beautiful as it is functional. With plenty of individual guidance throughout, this workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as those with a little pottery experience.

Once fired and glazed, your bottles will be fitted with premium stainless steel pourers and will be food-safe, watertight and ready to fill with your favourite olive oil and vinegar.

Enjoy a fun and relaxing Pottery Wheel Throwing Day designed especially for beginners. Held at Graylingwell Chapel in Chichester, this hands-on workshop is the perfect introduction to wheel-thrown pottery — friendly, supportive, and creative.

About the Workshop

Join us in our Chichester studio for a fun Pottery Throwing Taster! Perfect for beginners, this hands-on session lets you try the potter's wheel and learn the basics of pottery in a relaxed and friendly setting.
