Led by ceramic artist Sian Van Driel, this class focuses on slow, intuitive making. You’ll be guided to explore soft, organic shapes and smooth surfaces - taking inspiration from the worn forms of natural beach pebbles.
What you’ll do:
Learn the basics of coiling to form a closed, sculptural shape
Shape and refine your clay pebble with attention to form and flow
Use specialist tools to smooth, texture, and perfect the surface
Create a beautiful, tactile object that’s entirely your own
This workshop is designed to be meditative, supportive, and accessible for all levels - whether you’re new to clay or returning to your creative practice.
Your finished piece will be fired and ready to collect in 4-6 weeks.
